Private Tour/Donkey Meet & Greet

Booking instructions: Simply ensure "1" is indicated in Qty box, and select "book now" to see available dates and times. Please note, if booking for multiple people in one session, each individual will need to check out separately. If booking for the same time, simply book adjacent times and send us a note that you're all in the same party (Thanks for your patience as we work through website growing pains) :)

Enjoy a unique, meaningful, and calming farm outing with our rescued donkeys in their sanctuary. Our farm experiences are designed to be elevated, intimate, and meaningful, and are intentionally created for small groups for the best interaction with the donkeys. For large groups and corporate offerings, email info@zendonkeyfarms.com. Join us in our peaceful sanctuary for meaningful connection and good vibes! Plan for 60 beautiful minutes on the farm for your private tour/donkey meet & greet. Your $33/person donation supports the care and general upkeep for our herd :) We are grateful for your support!

What to Bring/Wear
We suggest wearing closed toe shoes for the barnyard, and clothes you don't care much about (dirt, donkey noses, farm life, etc)! You will be encouraged to leave your phone behind or put it on silent and truly be present with the donkeys - we will snap photos for you and share after your session. Be sure to dress for the weather as our experiences are facilitated outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, ZDF will reach out to reschedule your experience and you will not lose your your credit. 

When and Where?
Select the available date that works for you and check out online. The donkeys are located on our Greenwood, MO area farm approx. 15 minutes east of Lee's Summit or 35 minutes from downtown KC (address will be shared with confirmed guests).

Donkeys have a unique grounding and zen quality about them that we seek to tap more into. From their deeply soulful eyes to their attentive ears, soft bodies, and sturdy hooves, they radiate a special energy that’s hard to describe until it’s experienced in person. 

Here at Zen Donkey, the well-being of the human and the animal are equally as important, and we take great care to ensure the experience is positive for both. We are not a petting zoo or entertainment venue, but rather a peaceful sanctuary for humans and animals to connect and heal together, and we can’t wait to facilitate memorable and impactful experiences for more supporters in the KC area!

48-hour cancellation policy: Due to the time and expense required to host our experiences, we do not offer exchanges or refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of an experience. If you are unable to make your reservation and do not provide 48 hours  notice, we kindly suggest that you donate your ticket value to our nonprofit. If you're unable to join an experience last minute due to illness or other unforeseen hardship, please contact us at info@zendonkeyfarms.com and we will help however we can. By purchasing this experience, you agree to complete a farm liability waiver.
