Book a private healing session with our rescued donkeys and Reiki on the farm. Our private healing sessions are one-of-a kind, meaningful, authentic experiences designed for well-being of mind/body/soul. The investment is a minimum $222/person for a 75-minute session, with optional add-ons available including sound bath therapy, yoga, guided meditation, and more. Group rates available. Our thoughts...

Everyone has pain and trauma in some form, despite the individual’s journey.  Over the last few years with Covid coming into the picture, we've all gone through a collective trauma that has forced many of us to reset and reevaluate our relationships with ourselves, with others, with nature, and whatever higher purpose or being we may choose to embrace as individuals.

Donkeys have a unique grounding and zen quality about them that we seek to tap more into. From their deeply soulful eyes to their attentive ears, soft bodies, and sturdy hooves, they radiate a special energy that’s hard to describe until it’s experienced in person.

Combining free-form connection, mindful touch, intuitive movement, Reiki energy healing, Montessori-like enrichment activities, and un-tethered interaction in a natural setting, donkeys and humans come together in a mutually healing experience to enrich body, mind, spirit, and heart.

While we always leave space for free-form connection and play, ZDx embraces a few key elements across our experiences with the donkeys: HEAL, NOURISH, GROW, CONNECT, MOVE, PLAY

Here at Zen Donkey, the well-being of the human and the animal are equally as important, and we take great care to ensure the experience is positive for both. We are not a petting zoo or entertainment venue, but rather a peaceful sanctuary for humans and animals to connect and heal together, and we can’t wait to facilitate memorable and impactful experiences for more supporters in the KC area!

48-hour cancellation policy: Due to the time and expense required to host our experiences, we do not offer exchanges or refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of an experience. If you are unable to make your reservation and do not provide 48 hours  notice, we kindly suggest that you donate your ticket value to our nonprofit. If you're unable to join an experience last minute due to illness or other unforeseen hardship, please contact us at info@zendonkeyfarms.com and we will help however we can. By purchasing this experience, you agree to complete a farm liability waiver.
